The buzz in Stilbaai is not only because of the two long weekends in April – it is because of Stilbaai winning the Western Cape round of the Kyknet Kwêla television program, Dorp van die Jaar (Town of the Year) and having a foot in the door of being the winner.
The banners at the turn-off from the N2 to Stilbaai are announcing the news and will serve as a reminder to vote for STILBAAI from Sunday, 26 May to Friday, 31 May when the sms lines close at midday. Up to 30 sms’s per number are allowed at R1.50 per sms.
In the meantime, residents, businesses, holidaymakers and visitors who love Stilbaai, are working hard for the town to win this title that will mean a lot for tourism for Stilbaai as well as the Hessequa region.
Duhne Liebenberg from Namo Health Stilbaai took this photo to show their support for the project.

For our 500th post I wanted to do something special and when I saw this I knew it was right… We started #NamoStilbaai in 2001 and with the love and support from our amazing community and out-of-town visitors we've managed to continue to grow and succeed in this beautiful small coastal town 🙂 #grateful #coastaltown #stilbaai @mystilbaai #growth #health #support #familybusiness #community #southafrica #dorpvandiejaar #2019 @duhne27
