Holiday time in Stilbaai is MARKET time!
During the month of December, with thousands of visitors flocking to Stilbaai, Jongensfontein and the area, there are quite a few markets to visit that are selling the most interesting things. Strolling through the stalls and listening to the chatter around while looking for a unique item or gift or just something nice, sure adds to the holiday spirit…
Beautiful handmade goods, gifts, toys, food and art – there sure is something for everyone and one is able to see and buy items you will probably not see anywhere again.

SATURDAY 9 December
Jagersbosch Buitekombuis, go visit before it is all sold out!
Dates: Today and on Saturday 23 Dec
Where: Die Waenhuis at Jagersbosch. Follow the flags opposite the SPAR / Fynbos Centre
Time: From 9:00 to 13:00
Stilbaai Kersmark, the market that has become one of Stilbaai’s ‘traditions’.
Dates: From 9 to 23 Dec (closed on Sundays)
Where: AGS Hall at 41 Oester Avenue, Stilbaai West (follow the yellow sign boards)
Time: From 9:00 to 17:30
MORE MARKETS
Arts & Crafts Market – for the most art (and beautiful crafts) under one roof!
Dates: Thursday, 14 Dec. to Saturday, 16 Dec
Where: Community Hall, just off Main Road West on the way to the Police Station
Time: From 9:00 to 17:00
Stalletjies – find a variety of stalls (food, toys, jewelry, decor, clothes, household goods and more)
Dates: Everyday until January!
Where: Just passed the 3-way STOP at the bridge next to Main Road East on the way to Lappiesbaai
Time: The whole day!
Blombos Market – drive out for this nice market on a farm with pony rides, fun for the kids, beer tent and lots to eat and buy!
Dates: 22 and 23 December
Where: Jongensdal (on the way to Jongensfontein, turn right on the Blombos Road and drive for 2.5km)
Time: From 8:00 till late
Jongensfontein Market – an open air market not to miss
Date: Saturday 23 Dec
Where: On the grass opposite the caravan park, next to the beach
Time: From 9:00 to 13:00
