Join in the fun at the Kasselshoop Farm Run / Walk!
The Kasselshoop Farm Run is a monthly Trail Run / Trail Walk event that takes place at Kasselshoop, about 17km outside of Stilbaai just off the R305.
(Find more information about each FarmRun by clicking on the relevant event)
It will be a 5km Fun Run / Walk (might be a little shorter or longer) on the farm and will be suited for the whole family.
We are looking at hosting a 10km and / 15km event maybe once or twice during the year as well.
Start time: 8:00 in summer (Sept to Feb) and 9:00 (winter). Keep an eye on each event’s page for updates.
Experience the farm life as you will pass the cows and sheep grazing in the field and, if you are lucky, you might even spot Pablo, the lama who looks after the sheep!
Enjoy the outdoors and relax afterwards at Kasselshoop’s ‘Old School Tasting Room’ where fresh snacks and juice as well as ice cold craft beer and wines will be available. Watch this space for regular updates on what will be available, specials and other exciting things to come.
Treat yourself to their Tasting Experience and taste the various cheese with either wine, craft beer or even tea.

Different routes will ensure that you will never be bored.
The trails will not be too difficult so that the whole family can enjoy it. The terrain includes hard roads, some sandy tracks, veld and typical farming terrain one will find on the Klein Soebattersvlakte.
The routes will be clearly marked and (trail) runners can run while walkers can walk, strollers can do their thing and everyone can enjoy it the way that suits them best.
Water and drinks
IMPORTANT – As the event will be taking place on a farm where cows, calves and sheep are grazing while other animals are also living there, there will be NO water points on the route. This will reduce the risk of any plastic or paper that can lead to the death of animals.
Please bring your own water or drinks if you require any on the route and please do not litter or leave anything behind – only footprints.
There will be water and juice at the finish.
Every finisher will receive a medal at the finish (Feb to 1 Dec).
Sorry – NO DOGS allowed!
